 Gayle Sandell The Head of Lower School is responsible for the support and management of the lower division. The Head of Lower School is responsible for supporting and assisting Lower School faculty including participation in the faculty evaluation process; coordinating the Lower School curriculum; overseeing Spring Study Week and field trips; participating in the Admissions Committee; reviewing all Lower School student progress reports; conducting weekly Lower School faculty meetings; meeting with parents of Lower School students; and maintaining communications with Lower School parents. Along with the Head of Upper School, the Head of Lower School is in charge of the student assembly schedule and faculty duty roster. The Head of Lower School also attends all Board of Trustees meetings.
