Upper School History Teacher

Crane Country Day School is hiring a full-time Upper School (6-8) History Teacher. Contract to begin July 1, 2018. Required to be on campus beginning mid-August 2018.

 

Education and Experience:

  • Minimum three years experience in middle school education as a lead teacher

  • Teaching credential OR master’s in history

  • Prior experience in coaching, chaperoning student trips, and/or leading advisory groups

Successful candidates will possess the following attributes:

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Ability to successfully develop and maintain positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families

Long-Term Substitute Kindergarten Teacher

Crane Country Day School is hiring a full-time long-term substitute teacher for Kindergarten. Contracts are from February 12 to June 15, 2018. The teacher will work alongside an experienced co-teacher throughout all facets of the curriculum.

Education and Experience:

·      Minimum three years experience in elementary education, with preference to primary grades

Skills:

  • Highly skilled in language arts and math
  • Experience with Macintosh computers
  • Ability to successfully develop and maintain positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families

K – 8  Teaching Fellows Position

Crane Country Day School is accepting applications for three full-time teaching fellows positions for the 2017-2018 school years.  The teaching fellows position is a hands-on teaching experience that combines rich professional development and mentoring with daily opportunities for practical application in the classroom.  Fellows will be fully immersed in our school community and housing will be provided for them in a beautiful furnished home adjacent to Crane School.
