A birthday is an important and special day in a child's life. Each student is recognized in assembly on their birthday. If a Lower School family wishes, teachers will be happy to share in the occasion at school. In the Lower School, parents of birthday children may provide birthday treats. Arrangements must be made ahead of time with the teacher.

If a student is planning a birthday party outside of regular school hours, we encourage the parents to be sensitive to the feelings of classmates. Parties that include all the boys, all the girls, or the entire class are preferable to parties in which one or two children have been excluded.
